The Colts had this game right from the start. It was just an easy game. Although the Titans were on a five-game winning-streak, and looking dangerous, the Colts were on a eleven-game winning-streak, and counting, as they move on to 12-0.
Joseph Addai played well, scoring the team’s first touchdown, and having another one, along with 79 yards.
Peyton Manning threw for 270 yards along with a touchdown. Vince Young played well, and was looking to for a win after playing his best game of his career just last week against the Arizona Cardinals. He passed for 241 yards with two touchdowns and one pick.
The Titans had a lot of chances to win this game. They had wasted opportunities in the red zone, and the score should have been much tighter. Nate Washington had a chance to put up a [...]

I want to take one last look at the final drive of the Titans-Cardinals clash that is already an instant classic, and another stunning moment in the Vince Young legacy.
As a fan of the losing team, it is easy to criticize in hindsight when things didn't go your way, but I thought it might be therapeutic to add my notes of what I was thinking during the drive.
We've gotta put this baby to rest so we can get prepared for the Vikings. [...]

I am experiencing a rare feeling after an Arizona loss—I am in a great mood. I know, I know, it doesn't make any sense. I just watched my team, whom I lost my voice for while cheering them on today, lose on a two-minute, 99-yard drive by the Titans that will instantly become a part of Vince Young's legacy. So how is that I am not absolutely crushed by this defeat?
It's simple. Arizona played a fantastic game today. So did Tennessee.
In a game neither team deserved to lose, Young guided Tennessee masterfully down the entire length of the field in 18 plays and 2:37 to win by 3 points on the final play of the contest. I am a Cardinals fan, but I am a football fan too, and it doesn't get any better than this. [...]

The Cardinals face a tough matchup on Sunday afternoon versus a talented Titans team on a hot streak. Ever since team owner Bud Adams demanded that Vince Young get another shot as the No.1 QB, Tennessee has responded with four straight wins after beginning the season win-less with Kerry Collins under center.
VY is clearly rejuvenated, and playing with the more confidence than ever in his young career. The team has changed its offensive approach, sprinkling in the college option play with positive results. The interesting and maybe unintended effect of running the option is that not only does it allow Young to pick up first downs with his legs when the time is right, it also gives Chris Johnson even more chances out in open space, where he thrives. [...]

For An Evening with the Titans Part 1: click here.
When we left the Titans Bud Adams delivered a rousing speech to start their party.
Collins slouches over even more, “Vince this. Vince that. Where was the defense when I was playing?” He walks over to refill his coke.
LenDale White, lost in his own thoughts, sits by the bar while trying to muster up the courage to show “him” his shirt. White is not used to this insecurity and it is wearing on him. Johnson walks over to the bar while White walks away.
“How ‘bout a Captain and Coke?” Asks Johnson while putting his leg up Captain [...]

The below events did not happen anywhere other then the author's head (that he knows of).
Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, not long after the Titans defeated the Bills by a 41-17 score in Nashville:
Bud Adams is feeling a level of friskiness that belies his age of 86, but not the perfect mix of whiskey and Viagra he is currently sailing on. “Yee haw!” he says. “We are back on the victory train. Nothing can stop the Adams’ Family now!”
“Shirley,” he says (Shirley is Adams' assistant), “get me Fisher on the phone, would ya, sweetie?”
Adams is dancing around his owner’s suite. “I can’t believe it took that stiff Goodell so long to get out of my box. I had the birdies in [...]

Hey fans, yes, the rumors are true about Michael Vick's adviser, former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy expressing his personal interest about Vick joining the Buffalo Bills next year. In the same conversation, the Bills were also in the mix of acquiring Vick's services before the season started along with Bengals. This of course, was after his prison sentence for dog fighting was completed.
Now, I am not saying that the rumors for next season have been completely thrown out the window, but when it comes right down to it, the Bills have two starting QBs already, Edwards and Fitzpatrick. Furthermore, what has Vick done this year for the Eagles that could contribute to the success of the Bills next season? Vick, has completed 2 of 6 passes for 6 yards and rushed 12 times for 27 [...]

The Tennessee Titans will head into the locker room at halftime down 45 to nothing! Possibly the most embarrassing moment in franchise history, and not only was it embarrassing to the Titans, the team, donning the Oilers throwbacks disgraced former alumni and fans by the lackluster performance of the young injury plagued Titans squad. Tom Brady, was thought to be on a downslide, apparently he was saving his comeback performance for a snow-covered, postseason feeling game in Foxborough. Going 17 of 20 for 252 yards and 5 touchdowns would be a career day for any quarterback, (unless your name is Peyton Manning) but these were Brady’s stats for his record setting 2nd quarter! What has happened to the 13 and 3 team of last year? Close losses, key mistakes and injuries are the [...]

We observed the horrible years of the Indianapolis Colts defense. For example, the 2006 season which Indy took a role of doing absolutely horrible on rush defense. It was just about every game you see a 100-yard rusher.
Then there came one of the worst games in Colts history which resulted in a 44-17 painful defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars, in which the Colts defense allowed about yards on plainly just running the ball.
Against the Tennessee Titans, Colts fans always witnessed the times of Vince Young, Travis Henry, and LenDale White running right over them. Then there was the first time ever in which the Colts loss to the [...]

"If them guys don't want me to be in there man, it's time for me to make a career change for myself," Young said. "Because the fact is I'm ready to play ball and if they're not ready for me to play ball, somebody is."
That is what Vince Young said to a Baltimore TV station earlier this week. While I don't think there is really anything there that deserves the hoopla that quote has gotten, I still think VY needs some coaching when dealing with the media.
In the movie Bull Durham Kevin Costner plays Crash Davis a veteran catcher that is given the task of helping the team's young phenom pitcher, Nuke LaLoosh (played by Tim Robbins), with a host of things. One of the things that he teaches him is how to talk to the media when he makes it to "The Show." His interview [...]
