It has been a spectacular season for the Jets, as they made their improbably journey to the AFC Championship. Although they did not make it to the super bowl like they hoped for, you still have to applaud them. So without furthur ado, here are my awards from the Jets 2009 season
Rookie of the Year: Although Mark Sanchez helped get us to the post season. Shonn Greene helped lead us to the AFC Championship and for his performances, I have to give the rookie of the year to Shonn Greene. It is a very tough choice, but all Sanchez really did for the Jets is not do horrible (and even in some games he did just that), while his teammates around him have to carry the load for him to fix his mistakes.
