The Indianapolis Colts have showed signs of hope and some major improvement after Sunday's 14-12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts defense played strong in the victory. The Jaguars continued their roster moves on Friday by trading WR Dennis Northcutt to Detroit for S Gerald Alexander.
Northcutt was the last of the productive wide receivers on Jacksonville from the 2008 team.
Northcutt was coming off his second straight 44-reception year. Totalling 525 yards and 2 TD's last season, Northcutt's departure could mark the end of the dreadful wide receiving corps that the Jaguars had last year.
The Jaguars are now left with top free agent signing, Torry Holt, Mike Walker, Troy Williamson, and rookies Mike Thomas, Jarrett Dillard, and Tiquan Underwood.
Although mostly unproven, the Jaguars have plenty of potential with the youngsters on the squad and could turn some heads this year.
