What a great overall performance by the Saints! The Saints went out to Tampa and CRUSHED the Bucs 34-7 including  not allowing a point after the 7 minute mark. The Saints had a great game plan, so first and foremost great job by the coaching staff to have prepared well for their divisional game against the Bucs. Without a solid game plan, it would be like not having a solid foundation on a house or building structure you need that in order to build the actual house. Let me dive right in to the Saints who really shined during last week's game. First off is the Offensive Line for the Saints, they really stepped up this past week. It will be interesting how Sanchez deals with bouncing back - I remember watching Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay duke it out on ESPN about all sorts of issues, but focusing on when they [...] Continue reading →
WOW...the Saints showed up last Sunday to defeat the Eagles 48-24 in Philadelphia. The whole team along with the coaches did a great job game planning and the players a superb demonstration of executing it out on the McNabb-less Eagles. Among the Saints were the Stars that shined bright last Sunday... ...but before I showcase this weeks Star Studded Saints here is a recap: Week 1 Star Studded Saints: O-Line (2) OL Jermon Bushrod (got one from the O-Line as well) RB Mike Bell MLB Jonathon Vilma SS Darren Sharper QB Drew Brees Now for the Week 2 Stars: WR Marques Colston - he caught eight balls for almost a hundred yards (98 to be exact) and counted for two touchdowns. He did with a widely talked about Eagles secondary consisting of pro bowl caliber talent across the [...] Continue reading →
