The word schism has been thrown around about the Minnesota Vikings a couple different times this season. Each time the conflict has involved Brett Favre and the way he goes about his career in the NFL.
The first time I heard the word schism mentioned was when it was reported that the Vikings locker room was split on the decision to bring in Favre. This problem quickly went away when Favre took the field and led the Vikings to six straight wins to start the season.
Then around a week ago, I heard the now infamous word again. This time it was reported that their was a new schism in the Vikings locker room, but this time it was between Favre and head coach Brad Childress.
