Julius Peppers, a soon to be free agent this off season will be one of if not the most highly touted commodity when free agency officially starts on March 5th.
Today Peppers came out to the media and said he is not willing nor will he sign a long term contract with the Carolina Panthers, which all but makes him an official unrestricted free agent because he has more than six years of NFL experience.
So now starts the bevy of articles flying around about where Julius Peppers should and might sign when March 5th comes around.
The Saints, Eagles, Chiefs, Patriots and about a dozen other teams could be looking at Peppers. One of those [...]

Now that the NFL’s final four has been set, an array of interesting storylines emerge. Each team has its own story, own reason for making the super bowl interesting. Here’s a look at the stories going on beyond the facts and figures.
Indianapolis
Holding the top record in the NFL at 14-2. Indianapolis has probably the most pressure of any team in this round. The Colts have (by far) the most recent super bowl victory or even just appearance of any of the four teams involved. They have an MVP quarterback and a superior record.
So why the concern and pressure? First of all, they shook some, but not all of the concern regarding the team’s concept of benching starters to prevent injury and rest them up. They came out strong and soundly defeated the [...]

He has been ridiculed for getting beaten repeatedly in pass coverage in recent weeks, leading critics to proclaim that at 5'8", Cardinals' CB Michael Adams is simply overmatched because of his less than ideal height.
Darrell Green was one of the best defensive backs in NFL history and he was 5'9"/184 lbs. Adams is 5'8"/181 lbs.
While Green's best asset was his Olympic-caliber speed, Adams has shown off an astounding vertical leap. Adams is a work in progress and a great prospect if he continues to improve. He has flashed tremendous athleticism and is a hard worker.
Yet those positive qualities are not going to keep fans off of his back [...]

It's back to the drawing board this week for the Bills as they prepare and to fly to sunny Miami, Florida to take on the Dolphins. First, let's break down the horrible game that was played Sunday.
Well, the Bills were in it up until the Saints running game were introduced and the Bills' no-huddle fell asleep. Of course, let's not forget that the only way the Bills found the end-zone was through their punter, Brian Moorman, who threw a great pass to the back-up defensive end, Ryan Denney. Unfortunately, this would be the only points scored for your Bills the entire game.
Speaking of passing and on a good note, the Bills defense was pretty impressive by not allowing Drew Brees to throw for 1000 yards and nine touchdowns. The defense held him to less attractive numbers; going 16- [...]

Since the establishment of the four divisions within each conference in the NFL (NFC and the AFC), I have wondered…why is it when analysts discuss toughness and competitive strength of each division the NFC South seems laughed over. Why doesn’t the NFC South get more respect? When everybody talks about the toughest and most successful division in football, it usually comes down to the NFC East – hard to argue with the Eagles, Cowboys, [...]

Plaxico Burress was on top of the world two years ago catching the winning pass from Eli Manning to help the New York Giants defeat the ALMOST perfect Patriots of New England.
Since that day things have taken a turn for the worse for him – injuries riddled him last season, and when you thought he was about to turn a corner to help led the Giants to a possible repeat, he is arrested for carrying a gun across state lines (New [...]
