The million dollar question looming in Seattle is centered around Pete Carroll and what he wants to do at the quarterback position.
Carroll and Schneider are in a rough position because they have come in during the middle of a horrendous rebuilding process, which was created by former Seahawks general manager Tim Ruskell.
Matt Hasselbeck is entering into the final year of his contract and with the amount of injuries he's had over the past two years his future, with the current offense is questionable. The Seahawks have Seneca Wallace and Mike Teel behind Hasselbeck and neither have the complete package to be a 16+ game starter in [...]

Yes, I say play IN game. If the season were to end today, Jacksonville would be the last Wildcard team to make it in. The Dolphins are two positions out right now, with Baltimore one spot ahead. Winning the game would still require some help (we would need New England or Baltimore to lose), but it puts us in a MUCH better position. Since we can't make other teams win or lose, we just need to focus on ourselves here.
Jacksonville is tough team to figure out- as they seem to run very hot and cold. They swept a tough Houston team, blasted the Titans, and hung tough with Indi- but they were steam rolled by a mediocre Seattle, got pounded by San Fransisco, and had close calls against the Bills, Rams, and Chiefs. If the Jags are on their game though, they will be tough to [...]

The Bills squish the fish, the Bills squish the fish! I cannot stop saying that phrase. Of course, this phrase was coined back in the 90's when Dan Marino was the QB of the Dolphins and Jim Kelly was the QB for the Bills. None the less, it happened again this past weekend.
Despite the Bills entering the game at 0-1 under new head coach Perry Fewell, I have to say this was not the same team as the previous week. This team looked charged on both sides of the ball and everyone did their part to share a win in Western New York.
Another bright spot along with Coach Fewell was starting QB Ryan Fitzpatrick. Although Fitzpatrick did not have stellar stats, he looked confident with his offense. Confidence is something Trent Edwards never found this season while attempting to lead the team. [...]

First time head coach Perry Fewell led his Buffalo Bills and new starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick on to the field Sunday afternoon to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars. Putting up somewhat of an impressive fight, the Bills managed to almost win in Fewell's first game as interim head coach.
Overall, I did see signs of improvement on the offensive side of the ball that I have not seen in the [...]

Well, I've kind of been waiting for this news to come out before I took a look back to the Tampa game or forward to Carolina tomorrow night. Well, the news is in and it is as bad as it possibly could have been. Even at 4-5 we were second in the division by virtue of sweeping the Jets, and had an outside shot of making the Playoffs. That task just got a LOT tougher.
As you are probably already aware, Ronnie Brown went out of the game after a long run that ended in a fumble. At first, it looked like he had twisted his ankle- which is what I was hoping and praying for. Today, however, my worst fears were realized- Ronnie Brown is being placed on IR with an undisclosed foot injury (Lisfranc anyone?).
Ronnie was responsible for 648 rushing yards (47% of total rushing yards, [...]

After facing one of the hottest teams in the league last week in the Patriots, the Dolphins now get to play one of the worst in the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Their lone win of the season came last week against a Green Bay team that many anticipated would be very good this season. So did starting rookie QB Josh Freeman give the Bucs the spark they needed to turn the corner, or is Green Bay just terrible? In my opinion, it is kind of the latter one. The Bucs are still in heavy rebuilding mode, and are not stocked with very much talent right now- so these keys should be short and sweet- in fact, there are really only two main points:
Make the rookie QB look like a rookie: Josh Freeman got his first NFL start last Sunday, and his first NFL win. He did look [...]

The Indianapolis Colts have showed signs of hope and some major improvement after Sunday's 14-12 victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars. The Colts defense played strong in the victory. Peyton Manning had a solid performance, going 28-of-38 for 301 passing yards with one touchdown and one interception.
Manning played strong and was showing [...]
