Welcome ladies and gents to the 2010 New England Patriots offseason. I'm happy to be back at it again, as money is getting exchanged in this uncapped free agency period. It's been another minute since the last time you all have heard from me, and my plan is to not give you all 2,000 words. That said, this is the time of the year where plans start getting adjusted by external factors! I'll call these reports the Hindsight Reports because all we are going to do is look back on them and judge. Let me catch you all up on what's been up the last couple of weeks (besides the Combine, more on that jazz later):
-WR Randy Moss conceded that 2010 will most likely be his last season in New England: I think what is interesting about this is that Moss' cited the fact that New England [...]

It has been expected since the end of the 2009 season, and possibly predicted back when Oakland traded a 2011 1st round pick to New England for Defensive End Richard Seymour. But now, it is official. Richard Seymour will be in Oakland (unless traded) for the 2010 season.
Seymour recorded 47 tackles, including 4 sacks, during the 2009 season. He is being given a salary of nearly $12.4M as the franchise player. Seymour sent a text message to Jason La Canfora (NFL.com/NFL Network) that Seymour and his agent ,Eugene Parker, are still negogiating with Al Davis to get a long term contract for Seymour. Al Davis is the most unpredictable man on the planet when it comes to contracts. Don't believe me? Just ask Mike Shanahan, Marcus Allen, Lane Kiffin and [...]

With less than a week before the 2009 season opener, the Oakland Raiders gave the New England Patriots a 2011 first round draft pick in exchange for superstar defensive end Richard Seymour. Seymour was expected to be the answer to the Raiders run defense (which has been at or near the bottom of the NFL since 2003) and he was expected to give the Raiders a premeir pass-rusher. Seymour made an instant impact on Monday Night Football when he sacked Phillip Rivers twice in the season opener.
Then Seymour cooled off, a lot! He only got 2 more sacks all season, both against the Eagles, and finished the season with 47 tackles, 30 solo. The Raiders team leaders in sacks were Greg Ellis and Trevor Scott (7). Not only did Seymour not get after the quarterback, the [...]

In my first installment of my 2010 NFL Mock draft I received a lot of comments with people speaking out about two or three of my picks. Mainly Tim Tebow going sixth to the Seattle Seahawks, Gerald McCoy 12th to the Miami Dolphins and Jahvid Best 21st to the New York Jets.
So far no new big names have thrown their name into the 2010 draft pool. However I would like to point out that UW quarterback Jake Locker IS NOT going to be in the 2010 mock draft. I have seen at least five or more mock drafts in the last few days with Locker still in them.
So with that being said [...]

Who saw this one coming. The Steelers are the defending Super Bowl champions and are fighting for a playoff spot and were at Heinz Field against the 3-8 Raiders. The opening kickoff was returned by the Steelers all the way to the Raiders 20. But a solid effort by the defense held the Steelers to no first downs and a field goal made it 3-0. The Raiders drove to mid-field when 4th and 1 came up. Gradkowsi ran a play action and rolled out and hit Justin Fargas to move the chains. That drive tied the game 3-3.
Then it looked like it would become the blow out that many people expected. Big Ben executed back to back huge plays with the last one being a strike to Santonio Holmes for the first touchdown, 10-3 Steelers lead. The Raiders didn't go down though, they [...]

The Raiders learned Sunday that reality is harsh as they got pummeled by the Jets 38-0
Before Sunday, the Raiders came up with a big upset beating the Eagles and some players were even talking post season. Raiders Defensive Lineman Richard Seymour said: “You can mark it down, The Raiders will be in the playoffs in 2009.”
But when the scoreboard said 38-0 and Mark Sanchez was enjoying a hot dog on the sidelines, Richard Seymour probably wanted to take that statement back.
The Jets ended their three game losing streak and Mark Sanchez showed he can comeback from adversity well after throwing five interceptions last week against the Bills. Sanchez not only avoided interceptions, but [...]

The Jets are on a three game skid and looking to bounce back after a devastating loss to the Bills. Now, they are facing a must win game on the road, at Oakland.
Oakland has new found swagger after beating the Eagles 9 -13 and now Richard Seymour is making a bold prediction.
“You can mark it down, The Raiders will be in the playoffs in 2009."
The Jets on the other hand, have lost all their swagger starting 3-0 and being on top of the AFC in week three.
Now the Jets need to turn their streak around and beat the Raiders
Here are the keys for the Jets to win Sunday versus the Raiders
Mark Sanchez has to not be terrible: All Mark Sanchez had to do in both the Saints and the Bills games was not to do terrible, and the Jets would have won
He has [...]
