Good afternoon. Sorry for the long layoff in posting, I've been having a fair share of internet problems the past few weeks and I could hardly find time to get on the internet much less do any blogging. Anyway, that's all clear so hopefully I'll start getting back to regular posting again.
There's been a lot said about the Rams early moves in free agency since it started on Friday. They signed perennial backup quarterback AJ Feeley on Friday and then signed DT Fred Robbins yesterday. These moves, while not intended to make a big splash, are necessary additions in my opinion. The Rams needed a veteran presence in the quarterback department on the sideline not knowing Marc Bulger's future and the fact that Kyle Boller is not coming back. Robbins should fortify a defensive line that [...]

In my second installment of my 2010 NFL Mock Draft I received some comments from outspoken Redskins and Lions fans discussing their opinion on my selections of a quarterback and offensive tackle respectively.
Well now that the Senior Bowl has come and gone that has only a very slight effect on the third edition of my mock draft. So with that being said here is the third edition of my 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Click here for my first and [...]

In the NBA you have Kobe or LeBron. In the NHL you have Crosby vs Ovechkin. For the most part in the NFL it's always been Brady vs Manning deciding who's the best quarterback in the NFL.
I decided to go beyond the usual comparison of who is the best quarterback in the NFL right now with Manning and Brady. I decided to compare two forty year old quarterbacks who've been making "comebacks" for three years now.
Warner with Arizona and Favre with Green Bay, NY Jets and most recently Minnesota.
I've never heard someone compare Brett Favre and Kurt Warner so I decided to be the first and even [...]

In the most complete game Arizona has played since upending the Vikings three weeks ago, the Cardinals took care of business by ousting the undermanned Rams 31-10 to earn 10 wins for the first time since 1976.
With the NFC West crown wrapped up last weekend, the Cardinals also still have an outside chance of earning the No.2 seed in the NFC playoffs should the Vikings lose their last two games. Aside from that, this game served primarily as a much needed tune-up for the playoffs after two shaky outings.
The game featured several milestones:
Kurt Warner became only the second QB in NFL history to pass for [...]

What has happened to the once great franchise that Mike Holmgren and Bob Ferguson built from 1999 to 2005 when the Seahawks went to their first and only Super Bowl?
The 2009 Seahawks have picked up were the "Ruskell disaster" left off in 2008. The Seahawks are currently 3-7, third place in the NFC West ahead of only the St Louis Rams who are a measly 1-9.
One of the Seahawks three wins has come against the Rams, back in week one when this team actually had passion and heart for both themselves and for their head coach Jim Mora Jr.
The Seahawks defeated the St Louis Rams 28-0 in what is still their worst [...]

With Kurt Warner at the helm, Arizona looked like a team primed to make a deep run in the playoffs as they built a 21-3 halftime lead without breaking a sweat . With Matt Leinart under center after Warner was knocked out of the game just before halftime, the Cardinals couldn't produce much of anything on offense the rest of the game, but held on anyway thanks to another strong showing from both their defense and their running game to win 21-13.
The injury to Warner is not expected to be serious, and he may have even been able to return in a more competitive game. Instead, coach Whisenhunt used it as an opportunity to get Leinart some reps against an opponent that wasn't posing a serious threat. While it is always good to get the backup quarterback some playing time, Leinart's play was [...]

The focal point for the Cardinals will be containing Steven Jackson, who has averaged five yards per carry while topping 130 yards in each of his last three games, and is only 85 yards shy of going over 1,000 for the 5th straight season. If they can do that, stopping the Rams' passing game should be fairly easy.
St. Louis has lost two of its top three receivers to IR and is now down to practice squad warriors, outside of second year wideout Donnie Avery. Marc Bulger and Kyle Boller have combined for only seven touchdown passes in nine games.
Although Arizona is still ranked in the top ten against the run, they have stumbled [...]

The 2009 preseason is now finished and in the books. Now all 32 NFL teams will turn their attention to what really matters and that is the 2009 regular season and with one goal in winning the super bowl.
Two of the four worst teams (record wise) will be facing off in a week one division battle.
The Seattle Seahawks (4-12 last season) and the St Louis Rams (2-14 last season) square off in an important game for the Seattle Seahawks if they want to get back the NFC West title.
For the St Louis Rams this is really just a game where they don't want to lose any players to injury because with the moves the Rams have made they [...]
