Week 6 in the NFL featured a number of high-stakes encounters that inevitably went right down to the end of the wire. Here’s a week-in review review before breaking down the NFL Week 8 Power Rankings.
Close Contests: The Eagles (2-4) earning a must-needed win over the Redskins (3-2) 20-13, the frequently up-and-down Giants (4-2) holding off the Bills (4-2) 27-24 in an inner-state crowd-pleasing thriller, the Bengals (4-2) once again finding a way to win 27-17 over the winless Colts (0-6) and the Ravens (4-1) holding on 29-14 and putting up some quick points late in a hostile environment over the Texans (3-3) clearly fit the description.
The Packers (6-0) also manhandled the Rams (0-5) 24-3, the Raiders (4-2) just won again baby 24-17 over the visiting Browns [...]
