The results are in and the 2010 NFL combine is officially over. Next up, the Pro Days at the players schools.
It happened to be a weekend that I was sick and laying up on the couch in pain. I sat through all of the NFL Networks coverage and you can bet, I have some opinions. Lets tackle those quickly.
Rich Eisen is the best host on any TV show I've ever witnessed. The guy is just amazing at keeping some pretty... opinionated ex-players in line. I'm being kind using the word opinionated however. If anyone has sat through three hours of Michael Irvin, Warren Sapp or Shannon Sharpe you know what I mean. I look forward to Chad Johnson OchoCinco retiring so he can take his rightful place next to Rich on the network.
Now lets go [...]

After looking at mock drafts, and listening to draft analysts, it is finally time to come out and say that Tim Tebow will not be selected either 10th or 11th overall by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
I will go out and say this - the Jaguars only possibilities of drafting Tim Tebow includes:
1. Trading out of their spot to the end of the 1st round and gaining another draft pick. Perhaps at pick 28-32, Tebow may be worth the shot and money.
2. If Tebow falls to the third round. The Jaguars do not possess a 2nd round draft pick in this year's draft (it was traded away last year to the Patriots to get the draft choice that selected CB Derek Cox).
Aside from these two possibilities, Tim Tebow will not be selected in the early-mid 1st round.
Coming off of a season where the [...]

Well, last time I posted here the Dolphins were in an increasingly desperate search for a defensive coordinator after firing Paul Pasqualoni and then subsequently being turned down by their first two choices (Al Groh and Keith Butler). Just when it looked liked we might be out of reliable options, we were given a gift from the football gods. From seemingly out of nowhere, Mike Nolan decided to "mutually part ways" with the Denver Broncos, just one season after improving Denver's D from 29th overall in the league in 2008 to 7th this past season. He also trimmed almost 8 points per game off of the Bronco's average points allowed, and perhaps most importantly, developed the undersized Elvis Dumervil into the NFL sack leader with 17 total sacks. Rumor has it that Paul Pasqualoni was [...]

In my first installment of my 2010 NFL Mock draft I received a lot of comments with people speaking out about two or three of my picks. Mainly Tim Tebow going sixth to the Seattle Seahawks, Gerald McCoy 12th to the Miami Dolphins and Jahvid Best 21st to the New York Jets.
So far no new big names have thrown their name into the 2010 draft pool. However I would like to point out that UW quarterback Jake Locker IS NOT going to be in the 2010 mock draft. I have seen at least five or more mock drafts in the last few days with Locker still in them.
So with that being said [...]
