The Seattle Seahawks best offensive lineman, LT Walter Jones is currently sitting out with a back injury and before the San Diego Chargers game he worked out with the scout team in practice. Head coach Jim Mora Jr said it was the first time Jones had been on scout team and worked with the scout team, so there is a first time for everything. However the injury that is keeping Jones out is a lower back injury and there is no guarantee that he will return. He could be the next Jonathan Ogden and retire. So now the Seahawks are getting very slim on the offensive line. LG Mike Wahle retired, LT Walter Jones is 50-50 and could retire. Levi Jones was released by the Bengals recently after drafting LT Andre Smith. Jones could turn out to be the replacement for RT Sean Locklear when he moves over to LT when Walter Jones retires. The Seahawks decided to pass on OT like Eugene Monroe and Andre Smith and drafted LB Aaron Curry fourth overall. So Jones would be a better fit for RT talent wise.
