Jets continue to shut up the critics with another underdog win against the Chargers.They are now in the AFC championships for the first time since Bill Parcells was coaching the Jets.
Here are some quick hits from the game.
-I am not so much surprised that the Jets won, then I am that they didn't manage to blow it. I think about 99% of Jet fans were thinking the Jets were going to be the same old Jets after the Chargers scored a touchdown with two minutes and 14 seconds left.
-Kerry Rhodes decided to turn on the time machine to the player he was in 2006. He had a key sack, which forced a fumble late in the fourth quarter, and returned the onside kick that saved the game for the Jets.

Apparently, Mark Sanchez did not get the memo that rookies are usually not good in the playoffs. He became the fourth starting rookie quarterback since 1950 to win a playoff game and helped lead the Jets to their first playoff victory since 2004.
Mark Sanchez looked like a veteran, he was putting balls right on target, and made very good decisions and completed the game with a 139.4 passer rating.
I even think he earned his nickname, the "Sanchize", back with his performance.
Now let's look at the other rookie, Shonn Greene is an absolute BEAST. He's quick, he's powerful and he always keeps his legs churning.
