April has been cruel in the history of the Jets as they are notorious for their draft day blunders such as, Blair Thomas or passing onĀ Dan Marino for Ken O'brien . But ever since 2006, their drafts have looked very successful.
The 2005 draft was awful, the Jets drafted a kicker in the second round, the only way you draft a kicker in the second round is if he is supposed to be the best kicker in history. Mike Nugent never turned out to be that guy as he isn't even on the Jets anymore. Their other second round pick was Justin Miller, who isn't even in the league anymore.
But ever since 2006 the Jets have had amazing drafts, making the right decisions and getting plenty of steals. Here is a look at all the great picks the Jets have made in the past four drafts.

The 2010 NFL Draft seems miles and the Jets are #1 in the league in defense and the running game and they are still developing their franchise QB.
So where will they go with their first round pick?
The only two things I can see the Jets getting currently are a Wide Receiver or a pass rusher with their first round pick.
Braylon Edwards is the number one receiver for the Jets right now, but his contract expires this year and he hasn't really worked out with the Jets. He has had the case of the droppies all season and he can't seem to get the same page with Mark Sanchez.
I believe the Jets will sign him for another season and work with him and Sanchez on their timing in the offseason, as well has his hands. If they don't though, look for the Jets to draft a receiver in the first [...]
