The Tennessee Titans ended their 2009-2010 season as one of the hottest teams in the league. After falling to an 0-6 start to begin the season, the Titans won eight out of their last ten, coming up just short of a wild card playoff birth.
A great deal of success must go to Chris Johnson, who capped off an unpredictable season in the NFL, being the first running back to hit the 2000+ rushing yard mark since Jamal Lewis of the Baltimore Ravens.
Johnson put on a great show for Titans fans with his world class speed, being considered in discussions of racing against the best in the world.
He can do it all. Whether catching a pass out of the backfield, or doing what he does he best, making defenders miss, Johnson looks to have one great future in the NFL.
With that in mind, a few [...]

The below events did not happen anywhere other then the author's head (that he knows of).
Sunday, Nov. 15, 2009, not long after the Titans defeated the Bills by a 41-17 score in Nashville:
Bud Adams is feeling a level of friskiness that belies his age of 86, but not the perfect mix of whiskey and Viagra he is currently sailing on. “Yee haw!” he says. “We are back on the victory train. Nothing can stop the Adams’ Family now!”
“Shirley,” he says (Shirley is Adams' assistant), “get me Fisher on the phone, would ya, sweetie?”
Adams is dancing around his owner’s suite. “I can’t believe it took that stiff Goodell so long to get out of my box. I had the birdies in [...]

The Tennessee Titans will head into the locker room at halftime down 45 to nothing! Possibly the most embarrassing moment in franchise history, and not only was it embarrassing to the Titans, the team, donning the Oilers throwbacks disgraced former alumni and fans by the lackluster performance of the young injury plagued Titans squad. Tom Brady, was thought to be on a downslide, apparently he was saving his comeback performance for a snow-covered, postseason feeling game in Foxborough. Going 17 of 20 for 252 yards and 5 touchdowns would be a career day for any quarterback, (unless your name is Peyton Manning) but these were Brady’s stats for his record setting 2nd quarter! What has happened to the 13 and 3 team of last year? Close losses, key mistakes and injuries are the [...]

So, last week you might have remembered me revisiting the Tennessee Titans (http://www.nfltouchdown.com/something-tells-me-there-wont-be-a-patriotstitans-playoff-game/). I more or less went to bat for them. Decided they aren't as bad as their record. Resigned to the fact that they aren't going anywhere, but still thought they were playing well in most areas. A funny thing happened after I released last week's 1SKILLZ Gameplan picking the Tennessee Titans to upset the New England Patriots (http://www.nfltouchdown.com/nfl-week-6-2009-titans-at-patriots-the-1skillz-gameplan/): [...]

This weeks game against the Cleveland Browns is extremely important for the Bills. Why? It's important because if they lose this one, they may as well eliminate themselves from playoff contention.
It is not too early to rule out the teams that will not make the playoffs from the AFC. Along with Buffalo, if they happen to lose this weekend, you can count out Oakland (like that is a surprise), Kansas City (never should have gotten rid of Herm Edwards or Tony Gonzalez), Tennessee (been sticking with Jeff Fisher for way too long), Miami (can't decide on a quarterback or a running back) and Cleveland (who now has no one at receiver for whichever quarterback is playing).
By now, if your offense and defense isn't clicking by Week Five, you have huge problems. The only time both Bills' [...]

With week one out of the way, and the season off and running early on the Tennessee Titans are facing a must win against bitter division rival the Houston Texans. Even though losing this game wouldn't eliminate the Titans from playoff contention, they still must have this game. Going 0-2 with only 3 weeks til the Indy game, then the week after against the Patriots the Titans could easily slip into a hole that they wont come out of. Having not won since week 16 of last season it is necessary for Tennessee to get on the right track early, have a solid game where they play 60 minutes of Titan football and finally come away with a much needed W.
Game plan Offense:
After, a disappointing finish to the Steeler game, the Titans look to pickup where they left off with the passing game, but [...]
