The Bills continued their losing ways on Sunday, compliments of the Tennessee Titans. As predicted Titans owner Bud Adams was left pondering after flicking of the Bills.
The anticipated return of Trent Edwards was a complete let down. Edwards returned as the starting QB and actually looked worse than before his concussion and time off. Monday is the day that starts the NFL 2009 season for your Buffalo Bills and the only words I can muster up going into the first game are "um, yeah."
I have to tell all of you that I am not to confident for several reasons. Here is a laundry list that may not be gentle on the eyes.
1) Lynch is suspended for the first three games of the season
2) Lynch will not have a great year anyway
3) Trent Edwards is not showing signs of confidence and he is having a real hard time with the no huddle
4) Firing your offensive coordinator, who is supposed to make the no-huddle work, two weeks before the season begins
5) Terrel's toe
6) Van Pelt and Jauron are calling the plays on offense. How much offensive coordinator experience do they have? None, if you were wondering.
