In my first installment of my 2010 NFL Mock draft I received a lot of comments with people speaking out about two or three of my picks. Mainly Tim Tebow going sixth to the Seattle Seahawks, Gerald McCoy 12th to the Miami Dolphins and Jahvid Best 21st to the New York Jets.
So far no new big names have thrown their name into the 2010 draft pool. However I would like to point out that UW quarterback Jake Locker IS NOT going to be in the 2010 mock draft. I have seen at least five or more mock drafts in the last few days with Locker still in them.
So with that being said [...]

It took a couple of emails back and fourth to get the time and the date to work for both Vince and myself but I finally got the chance to interview one of my most inspirational football players ever, former Eagles Wide Receiver Vince Papale.
It was a 45 minute phone interview and our topics varied from Papale's era to modern day to the controversial Brett Favre. With that being said here is my interview with Vince Papale. We are both watching the Giants-Redskins game on MNF while the interview took place.
Lars: Hey Vince
Vince: Hey Lars whats up, give me one second.
Vince: You [...]

This is the first article in a five part series breaking down the rebuilding process for the Seattle Seahawks organization this off season. Starting with the front office and finding their GM to build the framework for a Super Bowl team. Second will be the coaching staff and who the possible GM's would hire. Third will be breaking down the current roster and who is staying and who is going. Fourth will be how the Seahawks should attack free agency and who they should sign realistically. Fifth will be the NFL and who they should take with their first four picks. Then there will be a concluding article summing up what the Seahawks roster [...]

At his usual Wednesday afternoon press conference, Seahawks head coach Jim Mora Jr. made some jaw-dropping comments of what he wants this "team" to become.
Mora used two key words to answer Seattle Times reported Danny O'Neil's question. Dirt bags and nasty. Two words that really have never been apart of Seahawks football.
The Pittsburgh Steelers, Chicago Bears (Samari Mike Singletary), and maybe the Dallas Cowboys of old would be the teams headlining the list of "nasty".
However Mora wanted to make it very clear of his definition of "nasty" and "dirt bags".
He wants to see Sean Locklear shove a defensive end right on his arse when there is a [...]

As a follow up to my last article which talked about the possible GM's for Seahawks after former GM Tim Ruskell resigned on December 2nd. A key statement at the Ruskell press conference was when Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke said "I fully expect Jim Mora to be the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks next season".
Now that is not set in stone, no matter how much Leiweke wants it. Depending on who the Seahawks chose to hire as the new GM of the Seattle Seahawks, I would put my money on the slot that the new GM would want "his guy" as the head coach.
Unless Jim Mora Jr. gets his [...]

On December 2nd Seahawks President of Football Operations and General Manager Tim Ruskell resigned with only three months left on a five year contract.
There had been reports that the Seahawks wouldn't retain Ruskell after seasons end so Ruskell decided to do the fair thing and not let it drag out any longer.
At the press conference where Ruskell, and Seahawks CEO Tod Leiweke talked about the fact that it came down to not winning enough games and that the team wanted and needed to go in a new direction.
Ruskell replaced former Seahawks GM Bob Whitsitt after he was fired in 2005.
Now Tod [...]

That old song "Backfield in Motion" still rings true in the current NFL. With the Eagles adding Michael Vick and already having McNabb and Westbrook their backfield is in complete motion.
The Seattle Seahawks can be added to that list. They currently have Julius Jones, who is the starting RB, T.J Duckett and two young backs in Devin Moore and Justin Forsett.
Now the Seahawks backfield migth be in action again with the possibility of the Seattle Seahawks signing free agent running back Warrick Dunn.
Dunn was the running back in Atlanta when both Jim Mora Jr and Greg Knapp where in Atlanta.
Now this rumor has some truth behind it and I would like to announce that there is no truth to the Thomas Jones rumors.
There are only two teams conformed interested in Warrick [...]

Michael Vick has just been signed by the Philadelphia Eagles, which is surprising in the fact that Head Coach Andy Reid distanced himself in an early interview this week with ESPN.
He said that the Eagles are happy with their quarterback situation and he hoped that Vick would get a second chance by another team.
Now Vick is headed to Philly to become teammates with Donavan McNabb. This should help Vick with his character and becoming more of a complete quarterback.
The Eagles weren’t the only ones in the hunt for Vick. It's not such a big surprise that the Cincinnati Bengals offered Vick a [...]

Since the establishment of the four divisions within each conference in the NFL (NFC and the AFC), I have wondered…why is it when analysts discuss toughness and competitive strength of each division the NFC South seems laughed over. Why doesn’t the NFC South get more respect? When everybody talks about the toughest and most successful division in football, it usually comes down to the NFC East – hard to argue with the Eagles, Cowboys, [...]
