Unfortunately, the 34-14 loss increased the temperature of his seat to an uncomfortable level. Philadelphia Eagles head coach Andy Reid signed a three-year extension on Tuesday to keep him through 2013. He is expected to make around $5-$6 million each season. While the numbers may show he deserves the extension, the extension has drawn mixed emotions from the Philadelphia fan base. In a game that would determine who would be in first place of the NFC East, the Philadelphia Eagles lost to the Dallas Cowboys 20-16 in a game that went down to the wire. With the win, the Cowboys improved to 6-2 on the season, while the Eagles now remain one game behind them in the standings at 5-3. The Cowboys simply won this game because they were the better team.
