In the most complete game Arizona has played since upending the Vikings three weeks ago, the Cardinals took care of business by ousting the undermanned Rams 31-10 to earn 10 wins for the first time since 1976.
With the NFC West crown wrapped up last weekend, the Cardinals also still have an outside chance of earning the No.2 seed in the NFC playoffs should the Vikings lose their last two games. Aside from that, this game served primarily as a much needed tune-up for the playoffs after two shaky outings.

Losing rookie backer Will Davis for 4-6 weeks is a blow to a defense. There is hope he can play again this season, as he was coming on strong with two sacks, twelve tackles and increased playing time.
Now more than ever the Cardinals need Chike Okeafor to battle through his back issues and get back on the field. Though he has missed the last two games, he is still tied for the team lead with 4.5 sacks. The immediate future looks bright as Okeafor participated in practice this week and will likely play.

With Kurt Warner at the helm, Arizona looked like a team primed to make a deep run in the playoffs as they built a 21-3 halftime lead without breaking a sweat . With Matt Leinart under center after Warner was knocked out of the game just before halftime, the Cardinals couldn't produce much of anything on offense the rest of the game, but held on anyway thanks to another strong showing from both their defense and their running game to win 21-13.
The injury to Warner is not expected to be serious, and he may have even been able to return in a more competitive game. Instead, coach Whisenhunt used it as an opportunity to get Leinart some reps against an opponent that wasn't posing a serious threat.
