The NFL Draft is notorious for having late-round trades that turn into big pickups for some teams. Oakland-New England swapped wide receiver Randy Moss for the Patriots fourth-round pick two years ago and that's panned out well for the Patriots.
Coming into the final day of the 2010 NFL draft the Seahawks held six picks in the final three rounds which gave them plenty of ammo to wheel and deal and that's exactly what they did.
The Seahawks made two trades on Saturday to bolster their running back corps and in doing so also grabbed the spotlight in the final rounds on the 2010 draft.
The Seahawks traded their first fourth-round pick (No. 104 overall) and a sixth-round pick to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for former USC running back LenDale White, defensive tackle Kevin [...]

Good evening everyone. It took me eight days (or 20 if you don't want to exclude days in February) to release the first report, five days to release the second report, and eleven days to release the third report, so after seven days I'm planning on this Patriots Free Agency Hindsight Report being the last. Let's take a look at the moves the Patriots have made in the last week:

Trade
With Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback recently being in the news for harassment as well as other possible charges involving an incident outside Atlanta, the Rooney family is not so high on Big Ben. This is his second off the field incident (he's currently fighting a civil suit in Nevada for sexual assault) and could be willing to part with the star quarterback.
The Steelers have said they would be content with current backup Dennis Dixon as the team’s starting quarterback or could acquire one via the NFL draft, but Dixon would be the more immediate choice.

Trade

Wallace now joins Derek Anderson and Brady Quinn as the three quarterbacks in Cleveland. However with Mike Holmgren being the man in charge it's been rumored recently that Anderson will be cut in the coming weeks and Brady Quinn could either be [...]

Welcome ladies and gents to the 2010 New England Patriots offseason. I'm happy to be back at it again, as money is getting exchanged in this uncapped free agency period. It's been another minute since the last time you all have heard from me, and my plan is to not give you all 2,000 words. That said, this is the time of the year where plans start getting adjusted by external factors! I'll call these reports the Hindsight Reports because all we are going to do is look back on them and judge. Let me catch you all up on what's been up the last couple of weeks (besides the Combine, more on that jazz later):
-WR Randy Moss conceded that 2010 will most likely be his last season in New England: I think what is interesting about this is that Moss' cited the fact that New England [...]
