Charles Haley. Man, what can I say about this guy. When you think of success, in terms of football, one of the first images that should pop into anyone's mind is Charles Haley. As the Dallas Cowboys prepare to take on the Philadelphia Eagles in the Wild-Card playoff round, the fans of Dallas have received great news from the city of Canton, Ohio. Two of the pivotal figures of the Cowboys dynasty in the 1990s are on the finalist list for the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Charles Haley, a defensive end who accumulated 100.5 sacks and was a constant threat to offensive lineman, along with Emmitt Smith, the all-time leading rusher in NFL history with 18,355 yards are one step closer to having busts in the Pro Football Hall of Fame located in Canton, Ohio. A couple of days ago, the Hall of Fame made the announcement of the semifinalist candidates that featured 25 men who are now one step closer to the Hall of Fame. On that list, two Cowboy stars shined brightly from the 1990s dynasty. Emmitt Smith, the all-time leading NFL rusher, and Charles Haley, the dominant defensive end for the Cowboys.
