Brooks did not deserve to be mentioned with ZERO.
Zero wins, Brooks has been through his trials and far share of poor teams. Yet nothing as dejected at what I have witnessed thus far into a season. If the Glazers (owners of the franchise) were smart...wanted to do something for their fans (a band aide to the season that is) they would go out and beg on their hands...knees...butts...whatever it takes to get Herman Edwards on a flight from Bristol, Connecticut where he works at ESPN (have no idea where the man lives) and get his ass firmly in front of the team to talk to them about how "you play to win the game". That is the aspect the Buc's seem to be lacking...an intensity....a fire...a passion to go out and play hard, leave it all out on the field.

According to sources on NFL.com, the Jacksonville Jaguars are in extensive talks with the Kansas City Chiefs regarding backup QB Tyler Thigpen.
Thigpen, who is entering is third year, was drafted in the seventh round in 2007 and saw a large amount of playing time last season.
Racking up over 2,600 yards and 18 TD's, Thigpen was considered to be in the competition for the Chiefs starting job until they traded for Matt Cassel.
The Jaguars are looking for depth at the quarterback position, as there do not seem to be any real reliable options after Garrard.
As of right now, Todd Bouman and Paul Smith are the backups to Garrard.
Bouman is the more experienced of the two, but has not seen any meaningful gameplay since the 2005-06 season when he was with the New Orleans [...]

The more things change, the more they stay the same. Again, the Bucs will be heading into training camp with more questions than answers at the quarterback position and there is an open battle raging at One Bucs Place. Let's look at the competitors and various thoughts on their offseason to this point. Honestly, I question how much it matters, but we will discuss that later.
Luke McCown - 6'3 - 212- Is thought to be an athletic, "efficient" passer. He has the ability to avoid sacks, find the open receiver and run the offense. He has a career Passer Rating of 75.2. His best year came in 2007 when he started 3 games and played in 5. He threw for just over 1,000 yards and tallied 5 TD's and 3 INT's with a 91.7 Passer Rating. His sample size is so small, so its hard to [...]

Byron Leftwich is on his way back to Florida, this time to play for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over the weekend, Leftwich agreed to a two-year contract with the Bucs, with the idea that he will have the opportunity to compete for the starting job in Tampa. Considering that his competition is Luke McCown, Josh Johnson and Brian Griese, it’s a competition he may very well win.
