Bills rookie free safety, Jairus Byrd is in the running for rookie of the year honors.
Drafted in the second round out of Oregon in the 2009 draft, Jairus has already proven himself to be an extreme threat to any opposing quarterback. Jairus finished the season tied for first place in the NFL with nine interceptions and recorded 45 tackles in 14 games. Jarius will also be playing in the Pro Bowl in February as the lone member of the Bills.

The Texans' training camp opened last Thursday, with the rookies reporting, veterans reporting on Friday, and already the battles for spots on the roster have started.
All of the starters from last year showed up, with the exception of Dunta Robinson, even though not all of them have long term contracts worked out yet. TE Owen Daniels and LB DeMeco Ryans have both discussed their dissatisfaction with their contract status, but both are in camp and working hard to help the defense and offense improve.

Over the last two weeks rumors have been going around the league about what the Seahawks might do with the fourth overall pick. There has been links to OT Eugene Monroe, LB Aaron Curry, QB Matt Stafford, QB Mark Sanchez, and possibly WR Michael Crabtree. Seahawks GM Tim Ruskell came out this week and said the he has a list of four players that he is considering drafting fourth overall. Some of those players could go before Seattle or be there when Seattle picks at four. This mock draft will shed a lot of light on what the Seahawks remaining needs are and how they plan on filling them.
