Sources say that the New York Giants are ready to offer unrestricted free agent, Julius Peppers 100 million dollars for seven years, including a hefty signing bonus.  It has been noted that Peppers and his camp will field a minimum of seven offers by week's end. Breaking News from Yahoo Sports and the Houston Chronicle: Rick Dennison will be the new Offensive Coordinator of the Houston Texans.  Dennison played and coached with Head Coach Gary Kubiak in Denver.  He leaves the Broncos where he was the Offensive Line Coach after being demoted from the Offensive Coordinator job. I needed to get a few notes out on the Seahawks-Pete Carroll subject. I just posted an article with the full details so check that out for the full info. However I have some added info. The LA Times Sam Farmer is reporting that Pete Carroll will sign his contract tomorrow (Monday) and will be officially introduced to the Seattle media Tuesday. Another coach from USC is joining Pete Carroll in Seattle. Trojans offensive line coach Pat Ruel will join Bates and Norton in Seattle. Many more of Carroll's coaches will be sure to join the list. The wait is over;  the Seattle Seahawks and former USC head coach Pete Carroll have come to an agreement to make Carroll the next Seahawks head coach, this according to the LA Times. Since the Seahawks fired former head coach Jim Mora Jr,  the team has been in direct contact with the Trojans head coach. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Bucs have sent the fourth overall pick in the 2007 draft to Chicago for a 2010 draft pick.  According to the Chicagobears.com, the bears gave up a second-round selection. That means the Bears won’t have first round and second round picks for the second straight draft.
