As I predicted throughout the season, Terrell Owens will not be returning to Buffalo next season. The Bills announced this week that they will not pick up the second year option on the receiver that Buffalo gave the "key to the city" less than a year ago.
Terrell had less then a stellar year with the Bills this past season. Of course, not all of his short comings were his fault. Throughout the season the Bills fired their offensive coordinator two weeks [...]

The Bengals finally made it official. With a 17-10 victory over the Kansas City Chiefs, Marvin Lewis and his team are AFC North champions. It wasn't pretty, as the Cincinnati offense was plagued by penalties once again. The defense took a major hit today as well when Rey Maualuga left the game with a broken ankle.
The Bengals really did not play well. However, they came through when it counted as the Cardiac Cats engineered another game winning drive. Carson Palmer connected with Chad Ochocinco for a touchdown late in the fourth quarter.
It was an emotional moment as Ochocinco held up a single finger on one hand and five on the other, making "15", a tribute to Chris Henry. Ochocinco then went over to the stands where fans had a poster of Henry.
It was a win for Henry. It [...]

ESPN is reporting that Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has died.
Henry suffered what were described as life-threatening injuries yesterday after coming out of the back of a pickup truck driven by his fiancee, Loleini Tonga. The two were involved in a domestic dispute when Tonga tried to leave. Henry apparently jumped into the back of the truck.
The incident occurred in Charlotte, where Tonga's parents reside. Henry has been away from the Bengals because of a broken forearm. He was placed on injured reserve following the November 8 game against Baltimore.
Henry's history of arrests and suspensions is no secret. After numerous chances, he was cut by the Bengals in April 2008. Against much criticism, Mike Brown decided to give Henry another chance to turn his life [...]

As to be expected, rumors are flying across the web with details and accounts of what has actually happened. It is clear that Bengals wide receiver Chris Henry has been involved in a serious accident.
According to WLWT in Cincinnati, Henry was arguing with his fiancee when she got into a pickup and started to leave the area. Henry apparently jumped in the back and fell out as she drove away. His injuries are considered to be life-threatening.
This incident occurred in Charlotte, where Henry's fiancee lives. The wide receiver suffered a broken arm and was placed on injured reserve on November 9, ending his [...]

After another impressive win, the Cincinnati Bengals have improved to 6-2, and 4-0 in the AFC North. Last year, the Bengals ended with a 4-11-1 record and eight players that were in, or had been to, jail. The key components that have lead to this year’s success are the transactions they’ve made in the past two offseasons.
In 2008, the Bengals signed former first round pick Cedric Benson. The Bears had given up on Benson due to poor performance. The Bengals had a huge hole in that position ever since Rudi Johnson’s numbers started to decline. A premiere running back will get somewhere around 350 carries a year. Last year as a Bengal, Benson had 214 attempts with 747 yards and two touchdowns. Benson was picked up on September 30th, three days after the third week. He then appeared [...]

Hey fans, yes, the rumors are true about Michael Vick's adviser, former Indianapolis Colts coach Tony Dungy expressing his personal interest about Vick joining the Buffalo Bills next year. In the same conversation, the Bills were also in the mix of acquiring Vick's services before the season started along with Bengals. This of course, was after his prison sentence for dog fighting was completed.
Now, I am not saying that the rumors for next season have been completely thrown out the window, but when it comes right down to it, the Bills have two starting QBs already, Edwards and Fitzpatrick. Furthermore, what has Vick done this year for the Eagles that could contribute to the success of the Bills next season? Vick, has completed 2 of 6 passes for 6 yards and rushed 12 times for 27 [...]

The last five times the Bengals have met the Steelers, it hasn't ended well. Ever since the 2005 playoffs, the Bengals have been in a losing slump against Pittsburgh.
After losing last week to the Chicago Bears, you know Pittsburgh is going to come into Cincinnati hungry and ready to play.
The Bengals have got to fix their mistakes from a close win last week and make sure they hold their home field better than last time they played at Paul Brown Stadium against the Broncos.
In order for the Bengals to beat the former Super Bowl Champs, they have to come in firing on all cylinders.
They can't shoot themselves in the foot with penalties like last week, and quarterback Carson Palmer has to make sure he gets the ball to his receivers and not the Steelers' defense.
This is [...]

Andre Caldwell arived in Cincinnati last season coming from a talented Florida Gators team that a year before won the National Championship.
He was one of the many talented players on the team, and was a hybrid player with receiving and running ability.
He didn't make the biggest impact as a rookie with stars like TJ Houshmandzadeh and Chad Ochocinco on the roster spot in front of him, and his main job was to learn.
Learn to be able to fill in the position when the time you time came. When his time did come, and both Chad and TJ were out with injuries Caldwell had a very productive game with five catches for 34 yards, and four runs for 49 yards.
Now he is coming into his second season with the Bengals, and says he feels like a better athlete based on what TJ Houshmandzadeh [...]
