The Vikings offseason has been nothing short of uneventful bander. The only noteworthy event other the near signing of T.J. Houshmandzadeh, was the trade of the Vikings' fourth round pick for Sage Rosenfels from the Houston Texans. Other then that, the offseason has consisted mainly of resigning key players and signing role players. The Vikings spent the first half and majority of free agency trying to keep the guys they already had on their roster. The players resigned included DT Fred Evans, FB Heath Farwell, CB Charles Gordon, DE Otis Grigsby, DT Jimmy Kennedy, TE Jim Kleinsasser, DE Jayme Mitchell, CB Benny Sapp and FB Naufatu Tahi.
