It's March, and everybody who has ever written two words about the NFL is doing a mock draft.
I'm part of that "everybody," but rather than take on the whole league, I'm going to focus on the good old NFC North.
What follows is a team-by-team breakdown of each team's projected 2010 needs, and how they will choose to fill them in rounds one and two (sorry, Bears fans).
Minnesota Vikings
It's no secret that the old Black and Blue Division has been looking [...]

The NFL Draft is two months away, and in the months of February and March we will see many draftees' stock rise due to the individual workouts along with the combine.
Already mock drafts have begun around the internet, projecting the top ten and the later rounds of the first round.
Yet, there will always be a few shakeups, and we will see a few prospects make the jump into the first round, which includes a higher pay day.
Today, I have come up with a list of five prospects that may have an opportunity to jump into this year's first round.
5. Kyle Wilson, Cornerback Boise St.
There are some mixed feelings about the corner back from Boise St. in this year's draft. He has the ability to [...]

As promised, my first NFL Mock Draft of the season continues with picks 11-20. The top ten looked to not have as many surprises, but with a lot of talent left on the board, we are sure to have another interesting first round this season. With players such as Dez Bryant, Taylor Mays, and CJ Spiller left on the board, it will be curious to see where they land in April.
11. Denver Broncos ( via Chicago)- Navorro Bowman OLB Penn State
The Broncos finish the season at 8-8, with some few needs to fill. However, the defense still has a few gaping holes. They were 27th against the run this season, which to me senses more depth is needed at the linebacker position. Bowman is arguably the best out there, and has the athleticism to play any defensive scheme the Broncos play [...]

With the 2010 Draft becoming the center of attention, one of the many players making some noise is former Clemson running back CJ Spiller. Spiller was one of the prolific players in college football while with the Tigers. Spiller finished with 7,592 all purpose yards, along with 40+ career touchdowns in his college career.
Spiller obviously brings a top ten talent to this draft class, with the ability to be a running back, receiver, and even a kick returner. One problem though, which is most of the league is satisfied at their running back positions and will draft for other needs. If Spiller is available from the mid to late rounds, it is quite [...]

The 2010 NFL Draft is just a short three months away, and with the season almost nearing end, it is time to focus in on this years draft. This years draft is bringing the hype, in regards to where former Hiesman winners Tim Tebow and Sam Bradford might land.
As I begin my first day on the job as an NFL Touchdown writer, today you will see my first mock draft on the year, involving the top 10 picks in the NFL Draft. Soon the entire first round will be covered on a weekly basis, but thrown in with some interesting trade possibilities Here is the Miselis Editon: 2010 NFL Mock Draft.
1. St. Louis Rams- Ndamukong Suh DT Nebraska
The Rams shall begin this years draft, after finishing the season at 1-15. From the offensive to the defensive of the ball, there are to many [...]

Exactly three months from today, the first round of the 2010 NFL Draft will take place with the Philadelphia Eagles holding the 24th overall pick after reaching the postseason for the eighth time in 11 seasons under head coach Andy Reid. After a 34-14 loss to the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild-Card round, the Eagles know there are plenty of areas that need improvement this offseason, beginning with the defense.
Philadelphia knew entering the 2009 season the type of adjustment they would have to make on defense.
Not only did they part ways with safety Brian Dawkins--a rare leader who was the heart and soul of the defense--but they suffered [...]

In my first installment of my 2010 NFL Mock draft I received a lot of comments with people speaking out about two or three of my picks. Mainly Tim Tebow going sixth to the Seattle Seahawks, Gerald McCoy 12th to the Miami Dolphins and Jahvid Best 21st to the New York Jets.
So far no new big names have thrown their name into the 2010 draft pool. However I would like to point out that UW quarterback Jake Locker IS NOT going to be in the 2010 mock draft. I have seen at least five or more mock drafts in the last few days with Locker still in them.
So with that being said [...]

Some of you Bears fans might be asking who is Jeremy Bates? Why wouldn’t we just hire Mike Martz or Charlie Weis?
First off Jeremy Bates is the 33 year old son to recently fired Bucs defensive coordinator, Jim Bates. Jeremy began his coaching career with the Bucs in 2002 as the offensive quality control coach. By the way the Bucs went on to win the Super Bowl that season. He spent two more seasons in Tampa and then spent one [...]

The 2010 NFL Draft seems miles and the Jets are #1 in the league in defense and the running game and they are still developing their franchise QB.
So where will they go with their first round pick?
The only two things I can see the Jets getting currently are a Wide Receiver or a pass rusher with their first round pick.
Braylon Edwards is the number one receiver for the Jets right now, but his contract expires this year and he hasn't really worked out with the Jets. He has had the case of the droppies all season and he can't seem to get the same page with Mark Sanchez.
I believe the Jets will sign him for another season and work with him and Sanchez on their timing in the offseason, as well has his hands. If they don't though, look for the Jets to draft a receiver in the first [...]
