NFC East 2008 Predictions and Awards

Predictions

1. Dallas Cowboys

Absolutely loaded from top to bottom. Haven’t proven they can win in the playoffs, but there’s too much talent here to pick against.

2. Philadelphia Eagles

Steady and solid…as long as everyone stays healthy.

3. New York Giants

No disrespect to the defending World Champions – seriously. But it’s an awful lot to expect them to maintain their impeccable playoff form.

4. Washington Redskins

The best mediocre team in football. Jim Zorn’s arrival will present a mild transition period.

Best Offseason Move

Jerry Jones giving contract extensions to Marion Barber, Terrell Owens, Terence Newman and Flozell Adams. (During the season last year, Tony Romo and Jay Ratliff were also extended.)

Worst Offseason Move

The Giants not hanging on to Kawika Mitchell.

Biggest Question

Can the Cowboys channel their astounding talent down the stretch?
