Dez Bryant Becomes the First First-Rounder to Sign

July 22, 2010 by

YES!!!! The moment we Dallas fans have been waiting for has happened. Dez Bryant has signed with the Dallas Cowboys and will not have to miss camp at all.

Dez signed a five year deal today for $11.8 million dollars with a $8.3 million signing bonus. Other reports state that $8.5 million is guaranteed. This will have to be updated later, but Dez Bryant will not miss camp.

Update: Dez Bryant signed a $11.8 million contract with $8.5 guaranteed.

Dallas is really happy this got done because Bryant is an incredible talent, and his agent is Eugene Parker, the man who orchestrated the Michael Crabtree holdout last year.

Good for Dallas! Can’t believe the deal was this easy to get done!

dez isnt the prima donna everyone tries to make him out to be. he got a bad rap for some stupid things in college but the truth is, he is a hell of a football player and loves to play the game. i am very glad he was the first to sign, now everyone may realize how ready he is to contribute to our stellar offense.
