Two things about this Top-Seven QB list:
a.) Because it deals with the game's sexiest position, we're going to expand it to Top 13.
b.) Relevant factors include "everything up to this point". Thus, a player's entire career, including what he's done in 2009, is taken into account. But it's not strictly about who has had the best career or best '09 season. It's simply, All things considered, who is the best right now?

7. Donovan McNabb.....It's only big news because of the news it will create. In other words, McNabb's rib injury is the key that unlocks the doore to the preemptive Michael Vick talk. Save your time....McNabb being hurt does not change the fact that Vick is nowhere near ready to resume a career as a starting NFL quarterback. Kevin Kolbe will get the nod for as long as McNabb is out, with Vick easing into things as a wildcat specialist.
