Bengals Lose Heartbreaker in San Diego

It will be a long flight home for the Bengals after a heartbreaking loss to the Chargers. Doing their best to honor their fallen teammate, Chris Henry, the Bengals fought hard but ended up on the losing side of a 27-24 final score.

Playing in front of family and friends, Carson Palmer had his best game of the season. Palmer exceeded 300 yards passing for the first time since 2007 and had two touchdowns. His only miscue was an interception in the third quarter.

Two major problems continue to plague the Bengals. The offense consistently struggles to score touchdowns in the red zone. The other problem is penalties. Mental mistakes are absolutely destroying this team’s chances to win.

The Bengals missed another chance to wrap-up the AFC North. They will try again next week when the Chiefs come to Cincinnati.
