Every Giants fan worth his salt knows about Jeff Feagles. He has established himself as one of the greatest all around punters in NFL history. He is also arguably at the top of the list when it comes to directional kicking. He has played for five teams, the Patriots, Eagles, Cardinals, Seahawks and Giants, in his illustrious career. He has played longer than any other active player in the NFL, but to most fans, admittedly younger than the ageless punter, that seems like an abstract notion. So just how long has Feagles punted in the league? To answer that question our crack research staff has come up with a top ten list of events and happenings that have occurred since Feagles first donned a professional uniform. [...]

Questions, questions, and more questions. We all ask them and, when we do, we want answers. In some case the answers are definitive and therefore immediate: Is the earth flat? It isn't. Did we really walk on the moon? We did. Which came first, the chicken or the egg? The egg, of course, breakfast comes before dinner. Others, because they deal with the unknown, are harder to answer, like the questions that confront football fans as their teams head to training camp. For Giants fans, this is especially true. On the surface the Giants have very few holes. They have spent the last three off seasons building a talented and deep roster. They have a chance to return to the top of the NFC but there are still questions that must be [...]

Which is the best Seinfeld episode? Is it the soup Nazi, or muffin tops? Could it be Delores? What about, "They're real and they're spectacular"? Regardless of which one you would choose, those and the other classics have one thing in common; seamless teamwork. Four actors coming together to form a unit so strong they almost seem as one. As odd as it may seem, there is a lesson that can be learned about football from their example. More specifically, the show's success can give us insight into the success of the New York Giants offensive line.
First and foremost, just as Seinfeld owes its success to the interplay of its core [...]

Hey you, over there. Yes you, come here. Act natural. Shhhhhhhhh, I have a secret to tell you. You have to promise to keep it quiet. You see, the New York Football Giants don't want anyone to know. Remember if I tell, you can't tell anyone. Ok here it is. The Giants are the best team in football.
I know, I know. The Eagles had a great off season, the Colts have Peyton Manning, the Cardinals are on the rise, the Steelers have retooled an already championship caliber squad, and the Patriots have Tom Brady back. Those teams and a few more surprise teams yet to be determined have the Giants flying under the radar and it's fine with them.

When it comes to laying the ground work for a successful season, most great teams follow a tried and true pattern. It starts off the field. Shrewd scouting, dedicated player development, and careful evaluation are the keys to choosing the best 54 players to start the season. That being said, if you look at almost every successful team, there is an unknown, unproven or unremembered (yes it's a word) player who exceeds all expectations It's this kind of player that gives the last little push needed to take the final Super step.
In some cases it a fresh face newcomer, like Tom Brady in the Pats first Super Bowl run. While in others it is a grizzled veteran who regains the glory many thought was gone [...]

The Giants by all objective standards had one of, if not the, best off season in the NFL this year. Like a master tactician, Jerry Reese, identified the needs, analyzed the options, and moved bodley to fill the gaps.
He needed to look no further back then two years ago to see the blueprint for success. A top notch running game and a stellar offensive line were key but he knew the true reason for success was pass rushers as far as the eye can see. It worked all the way to victory in Super Bowl 42. It can work again.
In free agency the best defensive lineman available was Albert Haynesworth. Reese got in the bidding but realised quickly that the Redskins had decided to pay a kings ransom for Prince Albert and he dropped out. It wouldn't surprise me if Reese was just [...]

Time and place, Saturday evening in New York. Crime, getting the best receiver at pick 29.
Don't get me wrong, Giant fans would be drooling at the thought of Darius Hewyard-Bey or Jeremy Maclin running by slower defenders or Michael Crabtree's pure play making ability, or even the versatility of Percy Harvin, but Hakeem Nicks is the one who is most ready to start and contribute to a team looking to get back to the Super Bowl the year after it felt cheated out of back to back titles.
Nicks is the most polished of the receivers coming out this year. His measurable's are undeniable, he has the catches, 68 this year, and the touchdowns, 12, that make you believe he can be a difference maker but it's the intangibles that catch my eye. This is a player who runs the most precise [...]
