So in case you haven't figured it out, I'm kind of the biggest Brady Quinn fan on the planet. This was my first ever YouTube video and I'm pretty proud of myself.
So Browns fans, are you ready to see what this kid can do or what? If this doesn't get you pumped, I don't know what will.
Believing in Brady (It\'s in the way that you use [...]

The Cleveland Browns seem intent on choosing the rough road. This will become a common theme as we review their annual nightmare fuel in the offseason, and into the season of which it will shine the brightest.
Which came first, the chicken or the egg? Is Cleveland cursed, or does Cleveland curse itself? In this situation, I'd argue that Cleveland is doing the self-damage rather than any dark forces or curse.
That is, if the reports and rumors are true. With Cleveland, you have to know that where there is smoke there is almost always not just fire, but pyrotechnics.
John Taylor, of TheOBR.com, reports that Brady Quinn will enter training camp with the "slightest of edges" over Derek Anderson, mainly because Quinn will continue his training regimen during the time between [...]

Donte Stallworth kills a man, pleads guilty to the charge, and gets 30 days in jail. Somehow I don't think you and I would have gotten off that easily. In case you need your memory refreshed:
Stallworth, 28, was driving drunk when he struck and killed Reyes, 59, at 7:15 a.m. on March 14. Miami-Dade police said Stallworth was driving drunk and a toxicology report showed he had a blood-alcohol level of .126, which is above Florida's legal limit of .08.
Donte Stallworth is off extremely easy. There's no other way to put it. He knows it, the entire world knows it. I'm here to make another point rather than argue whether what he did deserved life in prison or not.
In terms of [...]

You know what? It seems that every year the Cleveland Browns fall short of expectations. For the past decade now they've regularly disappointed those who thought they'd be cinderella, with the exception of 2007 (and they didn't even finish with a playoff spot in hand in that season).
Things are going to be different this year. I think we're going to see a year that is similar to the 2001 season in which they are competitive in every ball game and when they fall short on ability on paper, they'll make up for in heart and effort. It shall be a season in 2009 that no doubt sees the usual amount of heartbreakers and losses in games that they snatch defeat from the jaws of victory; but they'll also win a few that they [...]

You might think that I'm telling you that Brady Quinn is the 2009 Cleveland Browns starter because of yesterday's Cleveland Plain DealerReport from Tony Grossi's blog, right? Think again. Tony Grossi is a clown who knows little and does a good job speculating in an attempt to sell newspapers. In case you didn't read it, here was the meat and potatoes of the entry:
I offer up this tidbit for the enjoyment of those [...]

Today was supposed to be the day I come here and talk about the picks and grade each one, introducing each of the new Browns. But as they often do in any occasion, the Browns went ahead and took a poop in the excitement punch bowl on draft day. There's two kinds of Browns fans. There's the realist who knows how it is and there is the follower who buys into the Mangini & Kokinis regime and will until the ship has too many holes to plug. They did the same with Butch Davis. They did the same with Romeo Crennel. They probably bought into Chris Palmer and Dwight Clark's drafts as well. They probably thought Kelly Holcomb was the real deal. Well I'm here to tell you that just because these gentleman are paid professionals, that doesn't mean every move they make is a good one. Too often [...]

The day Eric Mangini was hired as head coach of the Cleveland Browns, you better believe he knew he needed to earn trust. Anyone who knew anything about the third year head coach or NFL football in general thought it was a questionable hire. The day of his introductory press conference I had a feeling he'd say something that would wreak of imitation and insincerity.
"But mom, it's the Browns," Mangini stated to the press. This was his best reference to everyone that he knew and he understood the deep tradition of what football means in northeast Ohio. I didn't buy it then and I'm not buying it now. Mangini has shown since then that he hasn't learned a thing.
And before we dive into that topic, let's make it clear that the guy really hasn't done [...]
