2010 NFL Draft: The Top Five Prospects That Will Make an Impact Next Season
The 2010 NFL Draft is less than three months away. Prospects are now getting ready for the Senior Bowl, and begin preparing for the combine.
Some experts say this is one of the more deeper classes in the past decade, even one of these writers saying this is the best class “since the class of Dan Marino”.
With that in mind, I have come up with a list of the top five prospects that will make an impact with their respective teams in 2010.
5. CJ Spiller- A potential top 10 talent, CJ Spiller is facing a situation where he may end up being selected anywhere within the draft. There are not many needs for a running back, especially in the first round.
Bryant brings the athleticism that compares him to an Andre Johnson, who has big hands and quick feet. Probably a near top 10 selection, Bryant will be getting paid the big bucks, while fitting into most offenses on the NFL level next season.
3. Joe Haden- Joe Haden proved during the 2009 season that he will be entering the draft as the best cover corner we have seen in the past few years.
Well, whomever drafts him next year, Haden will make the impact as expected. A top 10 talent, Haden may not show the most flash with the interceptions, but with time to develop he can turn into one of the best in the league.
2. Ndamukong Suh- All the hype has surrounded Ndamukung Suh, who, over the course of this season, is regarded as a rare defensive tackle in this years draft.
Though some see him doomed to be a disappointment, Suh brings double, sometimes even triple teams which lays off much of the pressure on the other lineman and linebackers.
A talent that we may not see for quite some time, Suh will make a quiet, but impressive impact in his rookie season.
1. Eric Berry- You will hear it from me first folks. Eric Berry will be the next Troy Polamalu, and it shall only take a few years time.
Berry is the best overall prospect in this draft, simply because he can do anything he is asked to.
Whether being a ball-hawk and being toward the upper class of the college elite in interceptions, or making fear into opposing offensive players with his tackling, Berry is one of a kind talent.
Berry is an automatic top three selection, and will make the most impact as a rookie in 2010 if given his chance to start all 16 games.
